Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Tony Aboudib is the director of Michigan Health and Wellness. He has post graduate studies in a multitude of healthcare specialties and works continually to advance his education for the benefit of his patients. His advanced studies include Functional Medicine, Functional Neurology, Herbs and Botanicals, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Genetics, Thermography and he has been a practicing Chiropractor for over 32 years.
Dr. Tony’s specialized training and advanced technical and diagnostic skills go beyond typical chiropractic care and have allowed him to handle very complicated cases that included chronic pain, headaches, vertigo/dizziness, thyroid disease and other auto-immune conditions, Alzheimer’s, anxiety, depression and PTSD among others.
His extensive knowledge has gained him the respect of local healthcare providers including medical doctors, radiologists, anesthesiologists, pain care specialists, orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists, who work hand-in-hand to achieve the best results for their patients. With his extensive knowledge he gets referrals from his fellow colleagues who may have reached an impasse with their patient. He has been called the “Doctor’s doctor” and has many of them come to his clinic for their own care.
Following his graduation from Parker (College) University, he remained in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, eventually operating four chiropractic clinics, a medical facility, a pain management and rehab center, a sleep disorders clinic and a medical imaging/diagnostic center.
He opened his Traverse City clinic in 2009 and has expanded to include a Low-Pressure Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber, Thermography, Theta Chamber and neurofeedback, Infrared Light Bed, PressoTherapy, Cold Laser Therapy and ShockWave (PressureWave) therapy.
Your First Step to a Healthy Life!
Healthcare that is Empowering!
At Michigan Health and Wellness, we promote overall health and well-being. From Chiropractic for the musculoskeletal system to Functional Medicine for the whole-body health; we seek to acquire the best, most state-of-the-art alternative medical equipment and methods to help our patients find the best path to good health. We don’t leave any stone unturned. We treat the patient as a whole, metabolically as well as neurologically. We order blood work, food sensitivity testing, stool testing, mold and toxicity testing; however, we don’t base our treatment entirely on the lab results; we listen to the patient and their symptoms and come up with a treatment plan to heal the patient. This can be changing their eating habits, doing recommend liver biotransformation (a form of detox), all in conjunction with our state-of-the-art machines such as ozone hyperthermia and carbonic acid to help detoxify the whole body and increase healing at the cellular level.
We have a low-pressure hyperbaric chamber to help with Alzheimer’s, concussions, traumatic brain injuries and other neurological issues such as Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Parkinson’s and Lyme disease to name a few. Most of the patients that come to us with issues also suffer from anxiety and depression dealing with their conditions no matter what they are. They are frustrated the lack of answers and resolution. We provide them with a Quantitative EEG to determine their brain function. Using state-of-the-art equipment to see the brain function in real time we come up with a treatment plan to heal the brain using neurofeedback or our one-of-a-kind Theta Chamber. We offer Thermography (thermal imaging) to identify inflammation and possible trouble spots long before it can be identified by other diagnostic methods.
Of course, if you are dealing with back or neck issues, we offer Chiropractic treatment including spinal decompression to decompress herniated or bulging discs or to reduce the pressure caused by arthritis, while also reducing sciatic pain and numbness and tingling. We use a cold-laser to help heal and regenerate at the cellular level. Our Shockwave Therapy helps stimulate healing by bringing stem cells to the area and is used on bone on arthritis, bone-on-bone knee, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis and other back conditions.
If a patient is looking to lose weight, we offer rapid weight loss to get you to your goal quickly or if the weight gain is caused by thyroid or other auto-immune disease we address the condition by finding the cause using lab testing or our whole body digitizer which generates a 23 page report on body function.
If you would like to improve your body appearance we offer Zerona cold laser to reduce the cellulite by emulsifying the fat or PressoTherapy to help with cellulite, circulation or Peripheral Neuropathy, using infrared heat and compression; or the LED Red light bed helps with acne, rosacea, wrinkles, rheumatoid arthritis and all arthritic conditions or chronic pain.
Dr. Aboudib continues to attend multiple post-graduate conferences to keep up with the latest research and state-of-the-art equipment to offer the patients who seek alternative treatment for their condition and to improve their health. Dr. Aboudib’s mission is to offer hope and solutions to those who have not been able to find it elsewhere.
